Morning Prayer

Thursdays, 9.00am @ St Francis of Assisi Church

A small group of parishioners gather on Thursdays for Morning Prayer. Often we use the daily office from A Prayer Book for Australia, but sometimes we use a form of prayer from another tradition such as Celtic Daily Prayer and usually include a period of silence. At these gatherings we attend to the emerging needs of those gathered and of the community more broadly.

Lent and Advent studies

Through the seasons of Lent (leading up to Easter) and Advent (leading up to Christmas), we offer a couple of different studies. Usually one is based around unpacking the Gospel readings and another is a reflective type, sometimes using poetry and other stimulus.
